Joey Cox of Fulton was named National Junior College Athletic
Association (NJCAA) All-American as a defensive lineman for
fellow Hall of Famer Coach Mike Eaton
Cox, who was one of the keys to the Indians’ football state
championship in 1977, played in the North-South All-Star Game.
He was also named High School All-American while playing for the
Tupelo Golden Wave.
