Gerald Goodman attended ICC in 1974 and 1975. He is a graduate of Blountstown Florida High School where he was quarterback of the 1973 state 2A championship team.

From there Ben Jones of ICC signed him to play quarterback for the 1974 and 1975 seasons.

While at ICC, he helped to lead the team to a North Division title in 1974 and the first state championship in the school’s history in 1975. He finished his playing career at the University of North Alabama where he started and played under now well-renowned Coach Mickey Andrews, who is currently the defensive coordinator at Florida State University.

He was a college football coach for several years at Marion Military Institute, University of Louisville, University of North Alabama, Mississippi State University and the University of Southern Mississippi.

He worked as the Executive Director of the Tampa Bay Classic presented by Buick after working for the PGA TOUR, Senior PGA TOUR and NIKE TOUR that has raised more than $12 million for local charities.
