HD McGee, former mayor of Fulton, made every trip to nearly
every small-town Mississippi football stadium across the northern

McGee's devotion to Indian athletics went beyond attendace. Through

the football field to the press box. He also staffed the press
box operations insuring public address announcers and other
neccessities were ready for each game.
Former ICC head football coach and fellow Hall of Famer Mike Eaton
said, "having HD was like having an assistant coach."
In addition to athletics, McGee also made significant contributions
to ICC's adcademic program through the phone company by sponsoring
scholarships to ICC for graduating seniors from Itawamba AHS.
