ICC bounces back in sweep of Pellissippi State

FULTON - The Indians ended their doubleheader Friday with a dominant 3-0 win over the Pellissippi State Panthers in the Davis Event Center (25-13; 25-20; 25-23).

On the attack, Aubrey Swanson (Corinth) led the team with nine kills as Mia Griffin (Corinth) followed her with seven. Ashelyn Isbell (Corinth) and Sadie Stegall (Pontotoc) each added four to that count.

Three Indians had double-digit assists in the sweep over Pellissippi State with Audrey Hamill (Pontotoc), Kensley Woolbright (Columbus) and Madasen McCaig (Tremont) recording 24, 12 and 10 respectively.

After the win on Friday, the Indians improved to 14-15 on the season. ICC will be back in action on Tuesday, October 17, when they travel to Henderson, Tenn. to take on Freed-Hardeman at 4 p.m.
