Volleyball ends road trip with 3-2 loss to Chattanooga State

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - ICC ended their run in the Chattanooga State Tournament on Saturday, August 26 in a 3-2 loss to the hosting Tigers (23-25; 25-22; 17-25; 25-22; 9-15).

It was a back-and-forth battle between the two squads throughout the match, but the Indians fell short in the fifth set shootout.

Corinth natives Aubrey Swanson and Mia Griffin led the Indians in scoring with Swanson having 16 points and Griffin having 10. Swanson also led the team in kills with 14. Audrey Hamill (Pontotoc) and Madasen McCaig (Tremont) each had a team-best 11 assists against the Tigers while Presley Jones (Killen, Ala.) added nine to the statsheet.
