Indians fall to Bevill State in 3-1 decision

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - To start their second day of the Chattanooga State Tournament, the Indians couldn't find their footing in a 3-1 loss to Bevill State (19-25; 23-25; 25-12; 18-25).

On the serve, Audrey Hamill (Pontotoc) and Presley Jones (Killen, Ala.) tied for the most of the team's assists with 17 each. Kensley Woolbright (Columbus) had the majority of the digs for the Indians with 20 while Hamill and Mia Griffin (Corinth) each had eight.

Ashelyn Isbell (Corinth) led the team in blocks with three solo while Sadie Stegall (Pontotoc) had two block assists and both Hamill and Anna Grace White (Lexington, Ala.) each had one block assist.

Griffin and Stegall led the scoring efforts for the Indians with them each having 11 points throughout the match. Aubrey Swanson (Corinth) added eight points of her own to the statsheet while Hamill also had 7.5.
