COLUMBUS, Miss. – The Indians dropped their second match of the Mississippi University for Women's volleyball invitational in a 3-1 decision against Southern Union State.
Like their first match against Paine College, ICC won the third set after losing the first two but couldn't get past the fourth.
Bree Lyons (Oxford) led the Indians with nine kills and 17 digs while Corinth natives Ashelyn Isbell and Aubrey Swanson each had six kills added to the statsheet. Sadie Stegall (Pontotoc) also added five kills to the count.
Alongside Lyons' 17 digs, Kensley Woolbright had 12 of her own while Audrey Hamill (Pontotoc) and Presley Jones (Killen, Ala.) each added five to the team's total of 51. Marlee Robinson (Ellisville) and Swanson also had four each.
