HANCEVILLE, Ala. – The Indians' trip over to Hanceville, Ala. for the Alabama-Mississippi Crossover came to a close in a frustrating way as they fell to Wallace State in a three-set match (10-25; 24-26; 14-25).
The team stacked up 31 kills in the match with Aubrey Swanson (Corinth) and Bree Lyons (Oxford) leading the category with Swanson having nine and Lyons having eight. Ashelyn Isbell (Corinth) added four kills to the statsheet, and Sadie Stegall (Pontotoc) and Abbi Upchurch (Starkville) each had three.
The Indians also had a 48-dig outing with Kensley Woolbright (Columbus) having a team-best 18 digs while Mia Griffin added nine to that count. Lyons and Upchurch each added three while Audrey Hamill (Pontotoc) and Madasen McCaig (Tremont) each had three.
