POPLARVILLE, Miss. – ICC dropped their third region match of the season on Tuesday night on the road to Pearl River, 3-1 (15-25; 25-16; 22-25; 21-25).
Bree Lyons (Oxford) and Aubrey Swanson (Corinth) led the Indians throughout the match with Lyons recording 11 kills and Swanson having 10. Sadie Stegall (Pontotoc) and Anna Grace White (Lexington, Ala.) each had five kills of their own.
Audrey Hamill (Pontotoc) led the team in the aces category for the night with 21 while Presley Jones (Killen, Ala.) added 11 to the stat sheet. Kensley Woolbright had a team-best 14 digs with Mia Griffin (Corinth) behind her with 11.
After Tuesday night's match, ICC fell to 8-14 overall and 1-2 in region play. The Indians will be back on Wednesday when they host the Mississippi University for Women Owls with a 3 p.m. start time.
