Indians fall to No. 17 Chattanooga State

Hanceville, Ala. – In their second game of the Wallace State Fall Bash, Itawamba Community College volleyball battled with No. 17 Chattanooga State, but fell, 3-0.

The Indians (11-5) dropped the first set, 25-16, and the second, 25-14. The third set was a battle until the end, but Chattanooga State won 25-22 to earn the 3-0 win.

Audrey Hamill (Pontotoc) led the Indians with 10 digs, followed by Lydia Hitchcock (Boaz, Ala.) with 10.

Sarah Allyn Thornell (Atoka, Tenn.) led the team in kills with six.

The Indians will face Spartanburg Methodist and Wallace State Saturday to wrap up the Wallace State Fall Bash.
