Columbus, Miss. – The Indians wasted little time picking up a 3-0 road win over Mississippi University for Women's JV squad Tuesday.
The Indians (7-5) won the match winning the sets, 25-15, 25-18 and 15-19.
Mary Leslie Cranford (Collierville, Tenn.) led the Indians with 11 kills, but nine total players record a kill in the win.
Sarah Allyn Thornell (Atoka, Tenn.) had a team-high 21 assists and Lydia Hitchcock (Boaz, Ala.) followed with 14.
Angie Gonzalez (Walls) led the team with 12 digs.
The Indians will host the ICC Classic this weekend and will face St. Louis, Gadsden State and Southern Union.
