FULTON, Miss. – The Lady Indians extended their win streak to three-straight games with a 5-4 win over Hinds on Saturday.
Julianna Alves and Maggie Creekmore got this started for ICC with an 8-4 win over Scarlet Gutierrez and Danna Gonzalez in No. 1 doubles. Caroline Ferguson and Claire Ferguson gave the Lady Indians a 2-1 edge after doubles play with an 8-4 win over Madison Curtis and Courtney Buffington in No. 3 doubles.
Alves picked up a 6-3, 5-7, 1-0 (5) win in No. 1 singles over Gutierrez. Caroline Ferguson defeated Aryelle Waters 6-3, 6-2 in No. 4 singles while Farrah Fowlkes knocked off Hayden Taylor 6-3, 6-2 in No. 5 singles play.
The Lady Indians will step out of conference play when they host Elmhurst College (IL) on Saturday.
