Lady Indians drop home opener against Snead State

FULTON, MS - After two-straight road trips, the Lady Indians (2-1) finally got a chance to host a match at the Johnson-Partlow Tennis Courts agianst Snead State Community College on Tuesday.
Unfortunately, the home opener didn't go the way they wanted after dropping a 7-2 decision to the visitors from Alabama.
The Lady Indians pair of wins came in No. 1 doubles when Kristen Eley (Mumford, TN) and Taylor Patterson (Olive Branch) defeated Samantha Dooley and Lucy Bradly 8-4 and in No. 1 singles play when Eley remained unbeaten on the season with a 6-3; 6-0 win over Dooley.
Anna Claire Griffin (Iuka) and Amber Frederick (Shannon) fell to Rachel Farmer and Sidney Garner 8-3 in No. 2 doubles play while Angela Hudson (Yazoo) and Aliesha Hudson (Yazoo) dopped an 8-2 decision to Amanda Bertoldi and ME Owens.
Patterson loss to Farmer 6-3; 6-2 in No. 2 singles play. No. 3 Griffin loss to Bradly 6-0; 6-0, No. 3 Frederick dropped 6-0; 6-0 decisions to Garner, Angela Hudson fell 6-1; 6-2 to Bertoldi in No 5 play and Aliesha Hudson loss 6-2;6-3 to Courtney Moore.
