Lady Indians bounce back to beat Northwest, 6-3

SENATOBIA, MS - The Lady Indians (3-1) bounced back after their loss to Snead State Community College with a 6-3 road win over Northwest Mississippi Community College on Thursday.
No. 1 doubles duo Kristen Eley (Mumford, TN) and Taylor Patterson (Olive Branch) moved to 4-0 on the season with an 8-3 win over Anna Rosenbaum and Madison Jarrell before No. 2 Anna Claire Griffin (Iuka) and Amber Frederick (Shannon) notched an 8-5 win over Macey Magee and Hannah Switzer.
The Lady Rangers picked up their first win of the day when Julia Roberson and Ashley Roberson defeated Angela Hudson (Yazoo) and Aliesha Hudson (Yazoo) 8-4 in No. 3 doubles play.
The Lady Indians got back to their winning ways when Eley picked up a 6-0; 6-1 win over Julia Roberson in No. 1 singles play.
No. 2 Patterson defeated Jarrell 6-0; 6-0, No. 5 Aliesha Hudson defeated Randi Robison 6-3; 6-1 and No. 6 Angela Hudson picked up a 6-3; 6-1 win over Hannah Waldrip.
Northwest picked up a pair of wins in singles play when Ashely Roberson defeated Griffin 6-0; 6-2 in No. 3 play and No. 4 Switzer beat Frederick 6-1; 6-2.
