Meridian struck first, but the Lady Indians responded with Mellissa Veloso da Silva scoring off an assist from Isobel Kinsella to tie the game 1–1. Meridian added a pair of goals to take a 3–1 advantage, before Kinsella scored late to cut the deficit to 3–2.
The Lady Indians had opportunities down the stretch but couldn't find the equalizer before the final horn.
