FULTON - The No. 17 Lady Indians closed the regular season in a 3-1 loss to Meridian at the ICC Soccer Complex Tuesday.
After a scoreless first half, the scoring began when Meridian got the first goal with 42:08 to play in the game. The Lady Indians responded not long after that thanks to a goal by Melanie Huber (Rickenbach Sultz, Switzerland) to tie the game. But ICC couldn't get anything else going as the Lady Eagles went on a 2-0 run to close out the game.
The No. 17 Lady Indians closed the regular season at 14-5 overall and 6-5 in conference play. ICC will now look towards the big prize in the postseason as they prepare for No. 4 Holmes in the quarterfinals of the MACCC Tournament.
