FULTON, Miss. - The latest game of ICC's ongoing streak of playing ranked opponents ended in a positive way on Tuesday when the Lady Indians knocked off No. 8 Pearl River 2-1 at the ICC Soccer Complex.

After going into the halftime break down a goal, the Lady Indians regrouped and surged back thanks to the tying goal by Liv Norris (Hernando) with 18:40 left on the clock followed by Julia Benneckenstein's (Vaduz, Liechtenstein) goal to give ICC the lead with nine minutes to go.

When it mattered the most, goalkeeper Asia Robinson (Horn Lake) was clutch when she had two saves late in the game, the first being with three minutes left and the other as time expired.

The Lady Indians improved to 10-2 overall and 2-2 in conference play. ICC will be back in action on Friday when they travel to Ellisville to take on No. 4 Jones College at 5 p.m.
