COLUMBIA, Tenn. – The Lady Indians picked up their fifth straight win of the season with a 3-0 win at Columbia State.
Lexi Loden (Saltillo) found Grace Joyce (Oxford) in the 19th minute to put the Lady Indians up 1-0 and that's where the score would be when the dust finally settled on the first half.
Ally Shinall (Oxford) scored on an assist from Joyce to give the Lady Indians a 2-0 advantage in the 80th minute before Lucy Dexter (Tupelo) added another goal off an assist from Morgan Gailor (Tupelo) to put the match on ice.
Anna Wesleigh Driskell (Tupelo) collected eight saves to earn her second shutout of the season.
The Lady Indians will travel to Senatobia to take on Northwest on Wednesday.
