Women’s Soccer semifinal game moved to Monday

Fulton, Miss. – With the threat of inclement weather in Raymond this weekend, the Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) Tournament has been rescheduled to begin Monday Oct. 28 with the Itawamba Community College women's soccer program kicking off the tournament against Pearl River Community College at 11 a.m.

The Lady Indians (16-3) defeated Mississippi Gulf Coast 4-0 in the conference quarterfinals match Wednesday to advance to the semifinals that was originally scheduled for Saturday.

Riding a 15 game win streak into the conference tournament, the Lady Indians will face a Pearl River squad that lost their first game of the regular season Sept. 24 in a 1-0 decision to ICC.

The winner between the Lady Indians and Pearl River will face the winner of the Holmes and Jones game in the finals Tuesday Oct. 29 at 3:30 p.m.
