Lady Indians extend win streak to 13 with win over Southwest Tennessee

Collierville, Tenn. – The Lady Indians extended their win streak to 13 Tuesday with a 3-1 win over Southwest Tennessee.

Grace Joyce (Oxford) picked up her tenth and eleventh goals this season, including the first of the game at the 2nd minute, and the insurance goal 54th minute.

Southwest tied the contest at the 11th minute and the score remained knotted at 1-1 until after halftime when Emily Hayward (Oxford) scored off an assist from Joyce early in the second half.

The Lady Indians (14-3) will wrap up the regular season Friday when they host Meridian at 1 p.m. for a non-division game but are also preparing for playoffs next week. With a 7-1 North Division record, the Lady Indians are waiting the results of the Holmes match with Hinds Friday to determine their playoff seeding.
