Eight members of the Lady Indians’ soccer team earned postseason honors

FULTON, Miss. – ICC was well-represented when the Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) and National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) released their postseason honors earlier this week.

Eight members of the Lady Indians' soccer team earned postseason honors.

Redshirt sophomore midfielder Lexi Pund (Tupelo), freshman forward Sarah Whitt (Pontotoc), and freshman defender Maisy Sumner (Blackburn, Lancashire) were named to the MACJC All-State team.

Freshman forward Grace Joyce (Oxford) and freshman midfielder Ally Shinall (Oxford) were selected to the NJCAA All-Region team.

Defender Alex Stevens (Aberdeen), midfielder Addison Meadows (Oxford), and forward Francisca Galleguillos-Pollarolo (Santiago Nunoa, Chile) were selected to play in the MACJC All-Star game.

The MACJC All-Star game is scheduled for Saturday at Freedom Ridge Park in Ridgeland with the women's match starting at 2:00 and the men's match following at 4:30.
