FULTON, Miss. – Grace Joyce has been recognized by the Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) as the Women's Soccer Player of the Week.
Joyce (Oxford) scored four goals and added an assist to help the Indians (8-3-1, 4-2-0 MACJC North) go 2-1 on the week and clinch a playoff berth.
The freshman forward started her impressive week scoring a goal and picking up an assist in the Lady Indians' 5-4 win over East Central on Monday before picking up her first collegiate hat trick in the 4-1 win over Hinds Friday.
Joyce has 10 goals and two assists on the season for the Lady Indians, who will face Northwest at 1:00 pm today in Senatobia.
