DECATUR, Miss. – The Lady Indians rallied to pick up a 2-1 win at East Central to start the season 3-0 for the first time since 2007.
How It Happened
Leah Anderson gave the Lady Warriors a 1-0 lead off an assist from Jordan Havens.
Grace Joyce (Oxford) picked up the equalizer off an assist from Ally Shinall (Oxford) midway through the second half.
Tiffany Ogden (Olive Branch) chipped in the eventual game-winning shot with less than nine minutes left in the match.
Haley McGill (Guntown) allowed one goal and made five saves in 37 minutes in net. Merrie Kate Grayson (Tupelo) picked up a save while Savannah Sartin (Fulton) added four saves in the win.
