Jennifer Hosey signs with Belhaven

Jennifer Hosey signs with Belhaven

FULTON, Miss. – Jennifer Hosey (Richland) has signed with the Belhaven University women's soccer team.

Hosey, a 5-foot-3 midfielder, had a medical redshirt during her sophomore season and will have three years of eligibility with the Blazers.

As freshman, Hosey played numerous positions for the Lady Indians. After both goalies went down due to injury early in the season, she made an impressive 34 saves and only allowed five goals in 300 minutes in net.

She had a career-high 11 saves on 13 shots on goal in her first match in net in a 2-0 road loss to back-to-back defending state and region champion Pearl River Community College.

Hosey is the fourth Lady Indian to continue her career beyond Fulton after Morgan Dennis (Saltillo) signed with Mississippi University for Women, Miaya Richardson (Columbus) with Mississippi Valley State University and Malarie Scott (Saltillo) with LSU-Alexandria.
