FULTON, MS – Itawamba Community College's women's soccer program has four earn postseason honors with a trio being named to the Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) All-State team and one earning National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) All-Region 23 honors.

Sophomore Allie Barnett (Iuka) and freshmen Deanna Christie (Liverpool, England) and Cynthia Betancourt (New Albany) received MACJC All-State honors.

Barnett netted six goals and three assists while fellow forward Christie scored a team-high eight goals and a team-high six assists. Betancourt finished the season with two goals and five assists as a midfielder.

Sophomore midfielder Morgan Dennis (Saltillo) earned NJCAA All-Region 23 honors, the first for the program since 2010. Dennis netted three goals and three assists and finished her career in the red and blue with six goals and five assists.

The Lady Indians had a historic season as they finished with a 10-8 record which is the most wins in a season for the program and hosted a MACJC playoff game for the first time in the program history.
