Lady Indians handle Southwest Tennessee, 9-0

FULTON, Miss. - The Lady Indians (10-7-0, 5-3-0 MACJC North) wrapped up the regular season with 9-0 win over Southwest Tennessee Community College (0-10-0) to set the mark for most wins (10) in a single season on Sophomore Day.

Morgan Dennis (Saltillo) had a pair of goals and an assist in the win. Allie Barnett (Iuka) had two goals while Malarie Scott (Saltillo) added a goal and assist. Francisca Galleguillos-Pollarolo (Santiago Nunoa, Chile), Audrey Wilson (Starkville), Addison Meadows (Oxford), and Deanna Christie (Liverpool, England) each added a goal for the Lady Indians.

Merrie Kate Grayson (Tupelo) and Haley McGill (Saltillo) each had a pair of saves to combine for their eighth shutout of the season.

The Lady Indians will host Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College (6-5-2, 3-3-2 MACJC South) in a rematch from last season's quarterfinals at 12:00 p.m. after finishing second place in the North Division. The event will mark the first time in the program's history that the Lady Indians have hosted a home playoff match.
