Lady Indians release 2017 soccer schedule

Fulton, Miss. – Coach David Strother announced the Lady Indians' soccer schedule for the upcoming 2017 season on Monday, as they look to make a run to the Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) playoffs.

After making their first playoff appearance since 2012, the Lady Indians will look to build on the success from last season.

The 2017 schedule features home-and-away non-conference matches against Motlow (Tenn.) State Community College and Southwest Tennessee Community College.

Both the men's and women's programs will open their seasons with back-to-back road matches against Southwest Mississippi Community College and Pearl River Community College on Aug. 25 and 26 before hosting Meridian Community College in their home opener on Aug. 29.

MACJC North Division play opens for both squads with a home match against Hinds Community College on Sept. 1

Other home matches include: Northwest Mississippi Community College, Pearl River, East Central Community College, Holmes Community College.

The Lady Indians return MACJC All-State selections Malarie Scott (Saltillo) and Morgan Dennis (Saltillo) along with 13 other freshmen from last year's squad.
