FULTON, MS – Itawamba Community College freshman keeper Ana Branch has been named the Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) Women's Soccer Keeper of the Week.

Branch picked up 30 saves last week while playing 135 minutes during matches against Millsaps College and No. 11 Jones County Junior College.

The Oxford native picked up 23 saves Saturday at Millsaps and added seven earlier in the week against Jones and now has 52 saves this season.

Branch is the first Lady Indian to be named Keeper of the Week since last season when Kate Hester went on to earn the NJCAA honor.

The Lady Indians, who are still in the playoff hunt, will host East Central Community College for a key MACJC North Division match at 2:00 pm in Fulton.
