FULTON, MS – The women's soccer squads of Itawamba Community College women's and Northwest Mississippi Community College battled for 110 minutes Tuesday, but neither were able to find the back of the net, ending the match in a 0-0 tie after two overtimes.

The Lady Indians (2-2-2, 1-1-1 MACJC North) controlled possession most of the contest with 30 shots and 17 shots on goal, but the Northwest keeper Ivy Cook was able to grab every shot to keep the game scoreless.

Three times, the Lady Indians were able to get the ball past Cook, but the ball found the crossbar and took an unkind bounce, limiting the chance of a shot on the rebound.

On the other end of the field, Ana Branch (Oxford) stop all six of the Lady Rangers shots on goal.

The Lady Indians had a great chance in the final overtime period, but were unable to fin the back of the net, ending the game tied at 0-0.

Next for the Indians is another North Division match on against Holmes Community College in Ridgeland at 2:00 pm
