RAYMOND, MS – Two goals by sophomore forward Jessica Geraldson (Olive Branch) pushed the Itawamba Community College women's soccer program a 2-1 win over Hinds Community College Friday.

The Lady Indians (2-2-1, 1-1 MACJC North) took the lead early in the match on Geraldson's first goal that came at the ninth minute off an assist from Morgan Dennis (Saltillo).

At the 20th minute the Lady Indians would see their lead disappear as the Lady Eagles netted the equalizer.

With the game knotted at 1-1 at halftime, the Lady Indians needed a spark to pick up a big North Division road win, and that's when Geraldson struck again with her second goal of the match at the 77th minute off a ball from Malarie Scott (Saltillo).

Freshman keeper Alexis Dunaway (Saltillo) held the Lady Eagles scoreless the remainder of the match to give the Lady Indians the 2-1 win.

Next for the Indians is another North Division match on Tuesday as they host the Northwest Mississippi Community College at 1:00 pm
