Strother announces 2016 Lady Indians soccer schedule

FULTON, MS – Coach David Strother announced the Lady Indians' 2016 schedule. It features eight home matches and includes two road matches against Alcorn State and Millsaps College.
The Lady Indians open the season on Sunday, Aug. 21 at Alcorn State University and continue the road tour at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College (Aug. 26) and Pearl River Community College (Aug. 27) before hosting Copiah-Lincoln Community College (Aug. 30) for their home opener.

ICC opens North Division play on the road against East Central Community College (Sept. 2) and Hinds Community College (Sept. 9) before hosting Northwest Mississippi Community College (Sept. 13). Other home division matches include: East Central (Oct. 5), Hinds (Oct. 12) and Holmes (Oct. 18).
Strother and the Lady Indians will travel to Millsaps (Oct. 1) after back-to-back home matches against Southwest Mississippi Community College (Sept. 24) and Jones County Junior College (Sept 28) in non-division play.
ICC will host Meridian Community College (Oct. 21) in its final regular season match of the season.

The Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) Championship will be played over the course of Oct. 25-30 with the semifinals and finals hosted by the South Division Men's champion.
The Lady Indians will report for preseason workouts on August 7 and will host their annual Meet the Indians event on Sunday, Aug. 14.
