SENATOBIA, MS –The Itawamba Community College women's soccer program suffered an MACJC North Division loss, falling 3-1 to Northwest Mississippi Community College Wednesday.

Coming off a hard fought battle division battle with East Central, the Lady Indians (0-4, 0-3 MACJC North) found themselves in another tight contest after a scoreless first half with the Lady Rangers.

The Lady Indians put the Lady Rangers to the test early by putting four shots on net in the first 13 minutes, forcing Northwest keeper Ashley Nelson to make big saves.

Freshman keeper, Breauna Holley (Pontotoc) made four big saves to keep the game scoreless early in the second half, but the Lady Rangers would find the back of the net at the 59th minutes to take a 1-0 lead.

The Lady Rangers added to their lead on a penalty kick just few minutes later, but freshman midfielder Madison Parham (Mooreville) answered on her own penalty kick at the 72nd minute to cut the lead in half.

Despite having their lead cut to 2-1, Northwest added an insurance goal with under 13 minutes remaining and held on to pick up the win.
