FULTON, MS – After a rainout, game cancelation and a road game, the Itawamba Community College women's soccer program finally got to take the field at home Tuesday in the home and MACJC North Division opener against Hinds Community College. It was a tight battle early on, but three second half goals, led the Lady Eagles to a 4-0 victory.

The Lady Indians (0-2, 0-2 MACJC North Division) fell behind early after a Lady Eagle goal 13 minutes into the contest. Sophomore midfielder Madison Parham (Mooreville) narrowly missed the equalizer a few minutes later as her header beat the keeper but just missed the target.

In the second half, the Lady Eagles picked up momentum, scoring three goals to pick up the 4-0 win.

On Friday, the Lady Indians will travel to Decatur to face East Central Community College. The North Division contest is scheduled for 3:00 p.m.
