FULTON, MS – After wrapping up preseason workouts with its annual Meet the Indians on Saturday, the Lady Indians are scheduled to open the 2015 season against Pearl River Community College on Friday, August 21 at the ICC Soccer Complex on the Fulton campus.

The Lady Indians enter the season under the direction of new head coach David Strother, who comes to ICC after spending the past three seasons as the women's and men's coach at Co-Lin.

"Our expectations are to be competitive in each and every single game," said Strother. "What we want to is make sure we have an understanding of our system and then implement that system. We want to make sure we are succeeding in the details we've been working on during these past two weeks of preseason and the rest of the season. If we do that we will have success in accomplishing what we've been working towards."

The first game of the day between the Lady Indians and the Lady Wildcats is set to begin at 2:00 p.m. The Indians and defending MACJC and NJCAA Region 23 champion Bobcats are scheduled to kick off at 4:00 p.m. – weather pending.

ICC will hit the road on Tuesday, August 25 to face Meridian Community College in non-division play. [Click here for complete schedule]
