The ICC women's soccer team were looking for their second win this season, but dropped a 1-0 heartbreaker in Meridian.

The Lady Indians controlled possession for the majority of the game and had excellent play from keeper Abby Westmoreland (Saltillo) who saved five shots. The only shot she was unable to stop came about halfway through the first half, but not the in form of a true shot. The lone goal scored in the game came from an own goal by the Lady Indians.

Even though they were down early, the Lady Indians fought until the very end, but were unable to record a shot on net.

The Lady Indians fell 1-0, but look to bounce back as they host Southwest later this week.
