FULTON, MS - Itawamba Community College freshman Emily Munn was named Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) Keeper of the Week when the conference released its weekly awards on Monday.

Munn (Pontotoc) recorded 20 saves in 180 minutes in net last week. In a 1-0 loss at Holmes, she allowed one goal and had nine saves and later had 11 saves and allowed one goal in a 1-0 loss to Hinds to earn her second Keeper of the Week honor.

"We are extremely proud of Emily," said ICC soccer coach Cody Carson. "She has played through an injury and has kept us in matches, but we just haven't been able to find the back of the net to take advantage of stellar play in net."

Despite missing three games due to injury, Munn leads the team with 62 saves in a total of 620 minutes in net.
