RAYMOND, MS -- The Lady Indians (1-4, 0-1 MACJC North) got a pair of first-half goals from Alyssa Kelley (Saltillo) and Lindsey Burton (Caledonia) to send the game to a 2-2 tie at the break, but a late goal second-half goal by Hinds gave the Lady Indians the 3-2 victory.

"I was proud of the fight I saw from the girls today," said ICC assistant coach Cody Carson. "We had our chances, but just couldn't take advantage of them in the second half."

Kelley and Olivia Heine (Madison Central) each had an assist in the loss.

"It was a tough loss, but I feel like the team really grew up today," comment Carson. "Hopefully we will be able to build on the positives from this game and be ready for Holmes on Tuesday."

Emily Munn (Pontotoc) had 9 stops and allowed 3 goals in 75 minutes in net.
