CLARKSDALE – The Lady Indians advanced in the NJCAA Region 23 Tournament with a down-to-the-wire 51-47 road win at Coahoma on Monday.
D'Naylah Williams (Kosciusko) led the way as she recorded 10 points and 10 rebounds to secure her fourth double-double of her ICC career.
Allie Beckley (Pontotoc) and Makayla Rieves (Columbus) contributed with seven points each while Arianna Durrell (Clinton) and Jamyia Bowen (Shannon) each added six.
The Lady Indians will be back in action on Thursday, March 14 when they play Gulf Coast in the Region 23 Semifinals held at Tougaloo College in Jackson.
