FULTON – The Lady Indians cruised to a 54-36 victory over Jones in the opening round of the NJCAA Region 23 Tournament in the Davis Event Center on Saturday.
Addison Howell (Olive Branch) came off the bench to led ICC offensively with 14 points while Jamyia Bowen (Shannon) added eight. D'Naylah Williams (Kosciusko) and Arianna Durrell (Clinton) each added seven.
The Lady Indians will be back in action on Monday when they travel to Clarksdale to face No. 3 seed Coahoma at 6 p.m. in the Region 23 Quarterfinals.
