Lady Indians struggle offensively in 76-56 loss at Coahoma

CLARKSDALE – The Lady Indians had offensive issues when they dropped a 76-56 decision against Coahoma in Clarksdale Monday evening.

The iron wasn't kind to the Lady Indians in the contest as they were only able to score nine points each in the second and third quarter. Despite a 22-point performance in the fourth quarter, ICC couldn't overcome their offensive struggles.

Jestiny Dixon (Foley, Ala.) and Arianna Durrell (Clinton) led the team with 13 points each while D'Naylah Williams (Kosciusko) added 11.

Ayonna Naylor (Clinton) had a team-best eight rebounds, and Williams followed with five.

The Lady Indians (16-2, 4-2 MACCC) will be back in action on Thursday, February 8 when they return to the Davis Event Center to host East Central for a 5:30 p.m. conference showdown.
