FULTON – The Lady Indians improved to 2-0 in conference play after earning a 68-63 victory over Delta at the Davis Event Center Thursday night.
Four Lady Indians had double-figure points in the victory with D'Naylah Williams (Kosciusko) and Arianna Durrell (Clinton) each leading with 13 while Jamyia Bowen (Shannon) and Jestiny Dixon (Foley, Ala.) each adding 10.
Makayla Rieves (Columbus) led the team with eight rebounds while Dixon added six.
The Lady Indians (14-0, 2-0 MACCC) will play again on Saturday, January 27 when they host Holmes for a 3 p.m. conference matchup.
