ELLISVILLE – The Itawamba Community College women's basketball team opened conference play with a 69-59 road win Monday night at Jones.
Ayonna Naylor (Clinton) had a career night as she led the Lady Indians with 18 points, the most of her ICC career.
Jamyia Bowen (Shannon) also had 14 points. Arianna Durrell (Clinton) added 10, Jestiny Dixon (Foley, Ala.) and Makayla Rieves (Columbus), six each.
The Lady Indians (13-0, 1-0 MACCC) will play again on Thursday, January 25 when they return to the Davis Event Center for a 5:30 p.m. conference showdown with Delta.
