Lady Indians handle Freed-Hardeman JV

HENDERSON, Tenn. – Itawamba Community College's women's basketball program took care of business with an 86-44 win over Freed-Hardeman University's junior varsity team, Saturday.

Leading by five points at the end of the first quarter, the Lady Indians cut loose, scoring 35 and only allowing eight to close the first half.

Kenijha Flowers (Clinton) had a career night with 18 points, the most in her ICC career to date. Her previous career-high was 16 against Copiah-Lincoln during her freshman season. Arianna Durrell (Clinton) added 14; D'Naylah Williams (Kosciusko), 12; and Allie Beckley (Pontotoc), 11.

The Lady Indians, now 9-0, will play again on Monday, December 4, when they travel to West Memphis, Ark. to take on Arkansas State University Mid-South in a 5:30 p.m. tip.
