Lady Indians remain unbeaten with win at Columbia State

COLUMBIA, Tenn. – The Lady Indians improved to 6-0 after an 80-54 win at Columbia State Monday.

Leading 20-17 after the first quarter, ICC outscored Columbia State, 23-6, to take a 43-23 advantage at halftime. The Lady Indians raced out to a 32-point lead in the second half before cruising to the victory.

ICC had three players score in double figures, led by Arianna Durrell, who had 16 points and two steals. D'Naylah Williams tacked on 13 points and four rebounds and Makayla Rieves came off the bench to score 10 points and grab seven rebounds.

The Lady Indians piled up 16 assists on 32 made field goals. Addison Howell and La'Monnie Owens led the way with five assists each.

The defense forced the Lady Chargers to commit 21 turnovers and only allowed four offensive rebounds.

ICC will enjoy the Thanksgiving break before returning to action when they host ASU Mid-South on Tuesday, Nov. 28.
