MONTGOMERY, Ala. - The Lady Indians improved to 2-0 on the season with a 95-53 road win over Huntingdon College's junior varsity team Friday, 95-53.
Addison Howell (Olive Branch) led ICC with 18 points while Jamyia Bowen (Shannon) and Makayla Rieves (Columbus) each added 13. Howell, Bowen and Rieves tied for a team-best five rebounds in the Lady Indians' win.
Rieves went three-for-three at the free throw line while Arianna Durrell and Kenijah Flowers (both of Clinton) and Jestiny Dixon (Foley, Ala.) each went two-for-two, contributing to a 79.9 free throw percentage for the Lady Indians. ICC also shot 66.7 percent from the field.
The Lady Indians will be back in action on Monday against Columbia State at the Davis Event Center at 5:30 p.m.
