Ellisville, Miss. – Itawamba Community College women's basketball dropped an 88-66 decision to No. 9 Jones College in the regular season finale Thursday night.
The Lady Indians (12-11, 4-10 MACCC) trails 39-21 at halftime but held their own in the final two quarters and outscored the Lady Bobcats in the fourth 24-21.
Addison Howell (Olive Branch) and Kenijha Flowers (Clinton) led the Lady Indians with 12 points each.
The Lady Indians will face Holmes Community College in the first round of the NJCAA Region 23 Tournament Monday at 6 p.m. in Goodman.
