Fulton, Miss. – The Itawamba Community College women's basketball program's fourth quarter rally came up just short Thursday night as they fell 64-60 to East Central Community College.

The Lady Indians (8-6, 0-5 MACCC) trailed for most of the contest but cut the Lady Warriors led to two points, 58-56, with 32.7 seconds left in the contest. Unfortunately, the Lady Warriors were able to make some free throws and hold off the comeback attempt to pick up the four point victory.

At the end of the third, the Lady Indians trailed by 10 points, 51-41, but overcame the deficit to give themselves a late chance at the win.

Kimaya Dixon (Oxford) led the Lady Indians with 12 points, and Shayla Golden (Jacksonville, Ark.) picked up her fourth double-double this season with 11 points and 13 rebounds.

The Lady Indians will travel to Utica on Monday to face Hinds Community College with tip-off scheduled for 5: 30 p.m.
