MONTGOMERY, AL – Sophomore Shayla Golden (Jacksonville, AR) recorded her first double-double as a Lady Indian to help the Itawamba Community College women's basketball team pick up a dominating 82-28 win over Huntingdon College's junior varsity squad on Thursday.
Golden finished the night 16 points and 11 rebounds.
Makayla Rieves (Columbus) scored 20 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Che'Mya Carouthers (Tupelo) added 10 points and 6 assists.
ICC (2-0) will host Wallace State on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. in the Davis Event Center. The game will be available on LetsGoICCTV.com/red.
