Montgomery, Ala. – Itawamba Community College women's basketball improved to 3-0 with an 85-57 road win over Huntingdon College's JV Saturday.
The Lady Indians outscored Huntingdon 21-13 and 23-17 in the first two quarters to take a 14-point lead, 44-30, into halftime.
In the second half, the Lady Indians outscored Huntingdon 41-27 to pick up the 85-57 win.
Demetria Shephard (Pontotoc) paced the Lady Indians' offensive charge scoring 17 points, followed by Nadia Gillespie (Olive Branch) with 15 and Ky'Leo Worriels (Hinesville, Ga.) with 10 points.
The Lady Indians return home Monday when they host Holmes at 5:30 p.m. The game will be available on LetsGoICCTV.com/red.
