Gandy signs with Prairie View A&M University

FULTON, Miss. - Sophomore point guard Tabreea Gandy has singed to continue her basketball career at Prairie View A&M University next season.

Gandy led the Lady Indians in scoring this season with 11.7 points per game. The sophomore point guard averaged 6.7 rebounds and 3.3 assists while starting 21 games. She picked up four double-doubles and scored 20-plus points in three games.

The Starkville native was named to the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) All-Region 23 and Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) All-North Division teams honors while earning conference and national Player of the Week recognitions in December.

The Prairie View A&M Lady Panthers are coached by Sandy Pugh and a member of the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC).
